Solana’s price has dropped by 95% this year… but it’s nothing to be alarmed about, claims Anatoly Yakovenko CEO of Solana.
‘It was our Black Friday deal,’ he grins. ‘It was a bargain.’
When it was pointed out that the price was STILL 95% down, on Monday. He shrugged, ‘that was our Cyber Monday offer.’
But then the price was still depressed on Tuesday… ‘yeah. That was our Giving Tuesday Special.’
And on Wednesday?
‘Our Cyber Week special offer. Which extended through till close of business on Thursday.’
And the following Friday?
‘Well the Friday after Black Friday sees the start of Christmas gifting season. And we want all our investors to have a very happy Christmas. So we’re discounting our prices by 95% for the entire month of December.’
What about January?
‘New Year sales. 95% discount.’
How long do the New Year sales last?
‘Well, the New Year lasts twelve months? …So 12 months.’
All of 2023?
‘No, no, of course not…’
Good.
‘…All of 2024 as well, because that’ll be our end of season sales.’
Doh.
‘Great value. Great value.’
